Heh... Vocaboly!
A lot of you know that I'm a bit of a grammar and vocabulary Nazi. (Thanks mom!) I like for things to sound the way they're supposed to, and a good vocabulary can be quite useful in life.
I was browsing around recently and stumbled on www.vocaboly.com -- crazy! It's a vocabulary builder that seems like a lot of fun to me. The even offer a free trial download. This little piece of software contains the definition, phonetic symbol and pronunciation for over 12,000 words! The offer games, flash cards, and more to assist you as you labor to increase and develop your vocabulary.
I'm just starting to look at this thing, so I'm still not 100% sure about it. But they've been around for quite a while and their product looks good. And hey... with a free trial it's worth a shot, right? Anyway, it might be worth checking out.... enjoy!
